Sabrina Lawler

Undergraduate Research Assistant

My name is Sabrina Lawler, and I am a second-year Biochemistry student at the University of Washington. My interest in biology education research comes from navigating the challenges of a rigorous science curriculum and finding different ways to adapt. Throughout my studies, I’ve become interested in how metacognition shapes the way we learn, especially during collaborative problem-solving. My role here in the Halmo Lab is conducting research on social metacognition in higher level education. Outside of lab I have a passion for the arts, and you will usefully catch me in a theatre, singing, dancing, or painting!
