Joyce Izundu

Undergraduate Research Assistant

My name is Joyce Izundu and I am a rising third year student at the University of Georgia studying psychology with an emphasis in neuroscience. Figuring out the way I learn has been a trial and error process my entire educational career. Over the various years I have learned different strategies and techniques that help me learn most effectively and efficiently. Pursuing a degree in science at a higher level of education has essentially helped me fine tune my learning strategies. Over the years I have seen the importance of using metacognitive strategies during my learning experience and it has fueled my interest in biology education research. In addition to scientific research, I enjoy working out, cooking, and photography.
