Hello! I’m Andy Phung, and I’m a undergraduate student at the University of Washington, where I’m currently pursuing a double degree in Biochemistry and Psychology. Before UW, I was employed to teach and create the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program for General Biology at Green River College. That experience has led me to the Halmo Lab, where I’m interested in the science behind social metacognition and its role in the process of learning. I hope to apply our research to my future endeavors in teaching and biochemistry. Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time with my partner and finding new bubbe tea places to drink!
